The Texas Association of Secondary School Principals is an association formed by and for over 5,000 campus level administrators. Established in 1922, its purpose is to build an active network of educators that want to take responsibility for the quality of school leadership. TASSP focuses on the need for collaboration between all stakeholders in education while using as its foundation a very effective volunteer force that provides a statewide knowledge base and informed leadership.
The Association of Secondary School Principals is committed to developing and training its members to be capable leaders. To perpetuate this concept, TASSP not only provides exceptional training for its administrators; it provides sponsorship to the Texas Association of Student Councils and the Texas Association of Future Educators.
Texas Elementary Principals and Supervisors Association (TEPSA), formed in 1917, represents more than 5,300 school administrators. These administrators supervise 100,000 school teachers who direct the activities of 2.3 million school children. In addition to principals, the membership includes supervisors of reading, mathematics, science, special education and other subject disciplines; it also serves central office administrators who are responsible for the administration of elementary education. Two out of three public school children in Texas are supervised by a TEPSA member.
Texas Elementary Principals and Supervisors Association is a diverse, supportive community of professional leaders, learning with and from each other, committed to providing quality education for all Texas elementary and middle school students. TEPSA provides leadership training, networking opportunities, information and support for principals and supervisors as we strive to continually improve the education of Texas school children and the working conditions of our members.

The Conference for the Advancement of Science Teaching (CAST) is the annual statewide conference and membership meeting of the Science Teachers Association of Texas (STAT) held each year on the date and site determined by the STAT Board of Directors.

The Conference for the Advancement of Mathematics Teaching (CAMT) is an annual Texas conference for K-12 mathematics teachers. The conference is sponsored jointly by the Texas Council of Teachers of Mathematics, the Texas Association of Supervisors of Mathematics, and the Texas Section of the Mathematical Association of America. The three-day conference is conducted each summer, on a rotating basis, in Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio.
The Rio Grande Valley Science Association is a group of science educators dedicated to supporting and improving science instruction in the Rio Grande Valley. The organization composed mainly of PreK-12 teachers, science specialists, University Professors, and science community members has over 19 years of community focus. The RGVSA Board is charged with organizing the annual conference, publishing a periodic newsletter, supporting science education events, and over-seeing the RGVSA website.
The Rio Grande Valley Science Association has sponsored an annual conference for nineteen (19) years. This conference has grown and now impacts several hundred teachers each year.
PTA is a grassroots organization made up of parents, teachers and others around the state whom have a special interest in children, families and schools. PTA membership is as diverse as Texas is in cultures, education levels and parenting skills. By joining a PTA, a member automatically becomes part of the largest child-advocacy organization in the state — over 650,000 strong across Texas.
Studies have proven that membership in PTA provides your child and other children around you with a greater chance of achieving in school. As a PTA member, you are more likely to be an informed, involved parent. These are dangerous times for children. More than ever, it is important for parents to learn ways to keep children safe, trouble free and involved in school. PTA is the best place to gain that knowledge.
For more than 75 years, the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) has been dedicated to improving the teaching and learning of mathematics. It is a recognized leader in efforts to ensure an excellent mathematics education for all students and an opportunity for every mathematics teacher to grow professionally.
